How to Adjust the Body Stance of MJX Hyper Go H18P?
If you own the MJX Hyper Go H18P 1/18 RC crawler, adjusting the body stance is one of the most effective ways to improve crawling stability, suspension flex and overall look. Many players do not know where to start and run into issues such as low ride height and uneven chassis lean. The body stance of the MJX Hyper Go H18P can be adjusted mainly in two ways: remote control knob settings and hardware modification.
Remote Control Adjustments:
- Steering Angle Adjustment. The knob at the bottom left of the transmitter controls the maximum steering angle. Turning it up makes steering more responsive; turning it down delivers more stability, ideal for straight-line high-speed runs.
- Throttle Speed Knob. The bottom-right knob limits the top speed. New players can turn it down first to get familiar with handling, then gradually increase it.
Hardware Tuning & Modifications:
- Lower the Body. Remove the shocks and take out the shims on top of the springs to reduce preload. Remove the same number of shims from all four shocks to lower the chassis evenly.
- Adjust Link Length to Level the Chassis. Fine-tune the turnbuckles. Shorten the link on the lower side and lengthen the link on the higher side until the chassis sits flat on a level surface. Make small adjustments each time; avoid big changes at once.
- Upgrade Shocks. Fit metal oil-filled shocks for the MJX H18P. Swap to suitable shock oil or springs to change suspension support, so the tires stay in contact with the ground longer while crawling.
Important check after tuning: Ensure the tires do not rub against the chassis or shock mounts when the steering is at full lock and the suspension is fully compressed!
That’s all about tuning the body stance of the MJX Hyper Go H18P. Feel free to leave a comment and share how you tune your H18P’s body stance, or tell us your better tuning tips!
