How to Replace Lower Swing Arms on MJX 10303
Have you bought new lower swing arms for your MJX Hyper Go 10303 and don’t know how to install them? This guide walks you through the installation steps and key tips. Gather your tools first, such as needle-nose pliers and a small parts tray. Start by disconnecting the LiPo battery for safety. Remove the wheel, detach the ball link from the steering knuckle, and pull out the hinge pin to take off the old lower swing arm. Install the new stock or upgraded swing arm in the correct orientation, refit the hinge pin and ball link, then tighten the screws evenly — do not over-tighten them. Once assembled, move the suspension by hand to check for binding, then double-check toe and camber to keep your MJX 10303 tracking straight after replacement. Important installation notes:
- Do not pry the hinge pin forcibly, or it will bend. A bent pin causes binding and accelerated hole wear after installation.
- Never force open the ball link cup. Nylon ball cups crack easily. If it is hard to fit, press the ball head gently by hand; avoid clamping the ball stud with pliers.
- Do not lock the pin tightly after fitting. It is a sliding hinge; if too tight, the shock absorber cannot compress smoothly.
