Is MJX Hyper Go H10G Waterproof? Rust Care After Wet Runs
Many RC enthusiasts wonder whether the new MJX Hyper Go H10G is waterproof.
This is a brand-new model, and its official manual does not state a clear waterproof rating. To stay safe, we do not recommend driving it through water on purpose. However, proper maintenance is critical if it gets wet accidentally.
If your MJX Hyper Go H10G comes into contact with water unexpectedly, follow these rust-prevention steps right away:
- Disconnect the battery first. Never power up the vehicle while it is wet.
- Wipe the chassis and all metal parts of the MJX Hyper Go H10G with a dry cloth. Use compressed air to blow out trapped water from gaps. Avoid hot air near plastic and electronic components.
- Re-lubricate bearings, drive shafts and hinge pins to displace leftover moisture.
- Inspect the screws, axles and suspension links of the MJX H10G. Apply anti-rust oil on exposed metal surfaces. You can brush or spray it to build a protective film against moisture.
- Store it in a dry, ventilated area only after it is fully dry. Do not reinstall the battery until you confirm it is completely dry.
We will update this blog once official waterproof information is released. Stay tuned! For more details about the MJX Hyper Go H10G, check out this blog: MJX Hyper Go H10G RC Crawler.
